ACCO Brands is a leading supplier of branded office products. These products are sold to consumers and end users through a dealer channel. ACCO Brands first turned to Karrot to create a reward program that would encourage sales of its well-known Swingline shedders and promote loyalty within its dealer base. After seeing the effects of this reward program, Swingline launched a separate consumer rebate program with Karrot, and additional brands, including Kensington and Quartet, began participating.
Within the reward program, distinct promotions were created for dealer sales representatives based on the application and type of Swingline shedder. Karrot designed a custom web portal for dealer sales representitives to register online for participation. With the program in place, we established contact with salespeople and began communicating with the dealer base through email, providing periodic updates and news. Program participants were able to claim their sales online for cash rewards, deposited onto branded, reloadable debit cards.
The consumer rebate program was created to directly reward purchasers of ACCO Brands’ products with related merchandise. Frequently changing rebate promotions allow ACCO Brands to encourage sales and promote new products.
